Why a Meetup Focused on Trans Individuals?

At Aconchego House, we believe in the power of community care. Our Trans meetup provides a welcoming space where individuals can connect, share experiences, and foster community. Participants gather to discuss topics that matter to them, from gender identity to navigating challenges with HRT to political and safety concerns to celebrating personal milestones. The atmosphere is supportive and inclusive, allowing for open dialogue and genuine connections. Attendees can express themselves authentically and find solidarity among others who understand their journey. This gathering not only empowers individuals but also reinforces the importance of visibility and advocacy within and beyond the community, especially in these difficult times.

Join Us!

This free community meetup every other week on Thursday, normally meeting at Aconchego House. This particular Thursday we will have an outing to a Pride Party at the Sunset Destination Hostel rooftop in Cais do Sodre, where we can socialize and meet other people in the community with a drink and the sunset! We will meet at Aconchego House at 18:30 and head to the venue at 18:45 (or you can meet us directly there).
