Queers and Hormonal Health: Menopause After the Misinformation Era
Menopause has been sold to us for decades as a crisis for straight cis women, usually secret, usually shameful. That story left queer, trans, and nonbinary people out of the frame, and it kept real info about hormones, mood, sex, and aging away from us.
We start with a screening of "The M Factor", a documentary that challenges how menopause has been portrayed and exposes how public messaging, shaped what we were told.
Right after the film, we open a group conversation on queer hormonal health: what perimenopause and menopause actually are, what care and autonomy can look like for us, and how we take this story back.
All genders, all orientations, all ages welcome. Bring questions.
